This preprint event toolkit provides a 10-step guide for how to conceptualize, organize and run a preprint-related event, either in person or online. The toolkit includes an event preparation document template, email templates to approach possible collaborators and speakers, tips on how get buy in and promote the event, and information on how ASAPbio can support the event. The toolkit is the result of a collaboration by a group of ASAPbio Fellows.
At the ASAPbio Community Call on June 2022, Alexandra Navarro from the Whitehead Institute (MIT, US) spoke about her experience posting a Preprint in progress: an early preprint she posted sharing preliminary results from her project, and which she used to gather community feedback on her work.
