Since that time, we have <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/asapbio.org\/faseb\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">advocated for policy changes<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/asapbio.org\/asapbio-ambassadors\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stimulated community organization<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/asapbio.org\/licensing\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">organized discussions around best practices<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, and expanded our focus to other areas such as <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/asapbio.org\/peer-review\/summary\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">transparency and innovation in peer review<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>The position<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Associate Director will 1) manage and grow the community of ASAPbio ambassadors, 2) create resources to enable advocacy for preprints, 3) drive discussions on best practices, and 4) assist with general operations of ASAPbio.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Requirements<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PhD in biology or a related field; a passion for open science &amp; preprints; strong communication skills; experience in advocacy, outreach, event organization, and\/or community management<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Hours, location, and start date<\/b><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This is a full time position.
