Preprints are discussed as follows:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p id=\"895e\" class=\"graf--h4 graf-after--p\"><strong class=\"markup--strong markup--p-strong\">Ideally<\/strong>, all journal articles would first be available as preprints. Preprints are versions of your manuscript that are not yet peer reviewed. Many journals allow you to submit articles that have been available as preprints (see <a class=\"markup--anchor markup--p-anchor\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_academic_journals_by_preprint_policy\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" data-href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/List_of_academic_journals_by_preprint_policy\" data- target=\"_blank\">this list<\/a>for more information).
