{"id":3810,"date":"2025-03-24T16:04:53","date_gmt":"2025-03-24T16:04:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pl-asapbio.local\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=3810"},"modified":"2025-03-24T16:04:53","modified_gmt":"2025-03-24T16:04:53","slug":"spotlight-on-preprint-community-projects","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/asapbio.org\/event\/spotlight-on-preprint-community-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Spotlight on preprint community projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The passion and ingenuity of the ASAPbio Community members has been critical in driving awareness and adoption of preprints across the life sciences.<\/p>\n<p>ASAPbio wants to support those in our community who want to spread the word about preprints and to this end, we started the ASAPbio\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/asapbio.org\/community-projects\">Community Projects initiative<\/a>, a mechanism to cover supplies, equipment, or fees for preprint projects driven by community members.<\/p>\n<p>At this Community Call, we provided an overview for this initiative and heard about a couple of projects we have supported:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jonny Coates spoke about the Preprints in Motion podcast<\/li>\n<li>Richa Arya talked about a workshop on scientific communication &amp; preprints she organized as part of the All India Cell Biology conference<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The passion and ingenuity of the ASAPbio Community members has been critical in driving awareness and adoption of preprints across the life sciences.
